Brief Introduction:
Laminated safety glass is with 2 or multi layers glass panes laminated together with Inter Layer Lamination Materials by lamination technology. When laminating there is a clear, elastic and tear-resistant film inserted between panes. The thermal treatment in the autoclave results in a durable bond between the glass panes and the film. In case of glass breakage the panes are hold together by the inter layer.
The Inter Layer Lamination we have now available now various types like : EVA Film, PVB Film, TPU, SGP, silk design fabrics, stainless steel wire mesh, copper wire mesh,PDLC smart switchable privacy film,etc.
SentryGlas® Interlayer
Besides 5 Times Stronger and 100 Times Stiffer than normal PVB Laminated Glass , other benefits of SentryGlas® include:

SentryGlas® IONOPLAST INTERLAYER
The SentryGlas® interlayer is five times stronger and up to 100 times stiffer than conventional laminating materials. With this kind of strength the glass can be a more active structural element in the building envelope, opening up design possibilities that didn't exist before. Besides its strength, SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayer retains its clarity - even after years of service. Unlike other interlayers, SentryGlas® ionoplast interlayer is much less vulnerable to moisture exposure or yellowing over time.
The Yellow Index for normal PVB laminated glass is 6-12 , while the Yellow Index for SentryGlas® is 1.5.

3. Holes, notches available to be cut by hand tools or by cnc water jet cutting machines .
